Most cars have dust covers over the socket so why not just pop down your local scrapyard and get one? That's what I was wondering. I will start hunting for the dust cover. Thanks Ratty.

Does anyone know if there is a cover available for the OBD Socket (Diagnostic) in my TD5 Defender? The socket sits between the passenger and driver seats and looks very vulnerable to a muddy boot or similar. Has anyone come up with a solution in the past? (I have searched but can find nothing.)

With the help of all the past posts and info on here, I fitted a new fuel pressure regulator to my Defender TD5. To those who have said that it only takes an hour I say.......really??.........but now running really well and there's no more "dripping" on the drive!!
