Is it possible to over-tighten the fuel feed unions that thread onto the injectors? The first time I undid the ones on my series 3, I had to swing out of them to undo them. Anytime I’ve tightened them up I’ve done them to pretty much the same tightness. But I went for a 85 mile spin the weekend...

I'd be interested - what are they like, difficulty wise? I've just put a 77 swb diesel series 3 on the road and I'm keen to put 'er through its paces, but I've not been laning as such before. I'm over in Dublin here, but I'd have no problem to jump accross on the ferry.. keep us posted... Pat

So if I start behind the dash, following the indicator wires back, where should I expect to find the relay ?

Just a quick one: when i turn the indicator lever up or down ( left or right ) the bulbs and indicator lights on the dash start to flash as normal but after a few tick-tocks they slow right down and stop flashing. Alas! the bulbs stay illuminated...Any ideas where a fella should start to look ..?!?
