    i have figured out why the clutch went! i could not get my head around what happen to the clutch as it had been fine before it went pop. the slave cylinder piston came out of the slave and then lost all of the fluid. i think the reason for this was wait for it some muppet removed the matting...

    recon gearbox

    if i need a recon box i get one while i have to take the box of to sort the clutch out! i want it right! may even change the engine to a v8 at the same time?
