For anyone who's having trouble connecting their factory sub to an new stereo

what I meant by the red plug is that on my discovery when you take out the factory stereo there are 3 plugs 2 are the plugs for power and speakers and there is also a red plug vertically plugged in with 2 wires coming out of it. I did try your method but it didn't work and I noticed that when I...

For anyone who's having trouble connecting their factory sub to an new stereo

Here's what you do: When you remove you old unit you will see a red plug with 2 wires in it which are for the rear doo sub. On your new stereo there will be 2 phono out sockets. If your stereo was like mine it will say 'audio out rear' for others it will say 'sub out'. You will need a phono lead...

I have had a good look at the coupling and it appears that i have fitted it the correct way and so its down to either a crap coupling or the vehicle setup is incorrect.. either way I have managed to source a 200tdi rear prop for £25 and all I need now is the coupling for the diff and its...

    Disco 300tdi Steering Problems

Firsty I'd check you tie rod ends mate.... Jack the car up at the front and give the wheels a tug side to side and check to see if there is any play in the ends there are 4 of them so that could cause the vague ness other than that it does sound like your steering box is shot.

Any pics of a Disco with a Rangie Roof??

that was a p38 range rover. I know what you mean though.. the problem is that they cut out the roof skin which was removed between the roof gutter trims. on the disco these are around the sides of the car leaving the roof as sort of like a hat for the pillars and If you removed the skin on it...

Any pics of a Disco with a Rangie Roof??

The idea concept itself is a good one but like others have said the proportions of the roof to body have to be exact not only that but the roof pillars have to be a similar width otherwise your gonna be in trouble in the event of an upsidedown moment.

the clonk N' Stutter.. its a new disco craze?

Well your engine problem will probably be the throttle position sensor due to the fact that it controls the butterfly valve in the throttle body. If it has become inoperative it would prevent the car fro. Starting due to the lack of air getting into the engine until you open it with your foot...
