Quick wash ready for the re-test (fingers crossed)

Just fitted my EGR kit and BLOOOODY HELLLL it should not have been that hard.... Rounded off one of the Allen head bolts on the exhaust manifold. Had to remove the exhaust manifold so i could get it in the vice!! I have to be honest it did make it easier to fit the blanking plate.

Just removed the EGR on mine, seems to run better. Bloody should do aswell after seeing how clogged up with gunk it was.

Quick wash and one failed MOT (Emisions) Quick blast up the M1 and some injector cleaner and hopefully it will pass tomorrow!

New track rod Poly Bushed the Panhard rod OOOh it really made a difference. Its amazing how you don't really notice the issues creeping up. Its like a new machine now. MOT in the morning (Hope it doesn't fail on the WATTS linkeage !!!!!)

Just bought a new track rod and a EGR kit from them! Again it was next day delivery, so excellent service. So now I have loads to do for the MOT on monday. Bushes (full set to fit) (Although I have just taken delivery of a 6T press which should help a little) Track rod EGR can wait till...

Hi Guys, Thanks for the advice.. I managed to sort this out all by my self so there.... Couple of photos of the reattached offending item and a greased up desk jockey finally finding his feet messing around in grease. Thanks again guys

Keep us posted I fancy finding some nice easy stuff locally. But the wife would cut mi spuds off if I damaged the Disco.... Although the jokes on her at the moment cause i took the battery and starter motor out to fix em.

Removed the starter motor and the battery from my TD5 Disco to have them checked.

The 'Satans Nut' is at the other side of the starter motor and can be got at 2 ways. 1 - By having reasonably long arms you can reach up from the bottom and with 1 hand just about reach the nut. 2 - I also have it on good authority that it can be reached from the top should you have a socket...
