I joined the pipe going to the lift pump to the pipe which goes into the injector pump and then undid the injector pipe and cranked it over until it fired up but now I'm stumped as to why I've still got the problem

Ye every time in get it running I crack off the pipes at the injector but doesn't seem to sort the problem as it starts cutting out again near enough straight away

Hi I've got a 1988 90 with a 300 tdi fitted. I was driving it today and it ran fine for the first couple of miles but then seemed to run out of diesel so limped into the petrol station and stuck 20 quid in the problem I've got now is that it won't run anything above idle as it just bogs down and...

Will have a trip to screw fix first thing in the morning see if they have some. Just hope they do the job need to get the engine swapped.

Yes I've take the engine mount rubbers out and dropped in down onto the chassis mounts and I don't think their is enough room for a hammer and chisel unless it borrower size but could be wrong

Yes I've tried both but the 6 sided just seem to jump. It's doing my head in was only meant to take 2 days to swap over and I've spent 2 days struggling and I've still not got the engine out.

Hi have just bought a 3.9 v8 engine to replace the blown engine that's already in my 1998 discovery. But the engine that's in it is a 3.9 v8 mounted to a manual gearbox but the engine I've got is from an auto. I've had a look on the net and can't find out what needs swapping between the engines...

you will get £130 a tonne scrap at the minute so just short of £300 quid for the full thing

i just fitted my airfilter canister against passenger wing like it would be in the discovery but then again i bought all my conversion parts from steve parkers so made it alot easyer and less to go wrong. Plus it came with all the destructions :)

the lt 77 box fits the 300 tdi all you need to do is remove a couple of studs and drill and tap a new one at the bottom.

i should be able too as im traveling from hatfield to huddersfield in the next couple of weeks

how much you after? and could you stick them on a pallet?
