I have tried it with the maf & tuning kit disconnected and there is an improvement on low engine revs (1500 rpm) however when the engine is cold there is still a little missing and smoke from the exhaust at 2500 rpm, when the engine is warm this clears too.

Ok I will try that tomorrow, I also have a k&n air filter fitted - not sure if that makes a difference?

Hi Shutty, The maf I bought on ebay and I am running a roverron synergy tuning module, I have tried disconnecting the roverron and it is exactly the same.

Thanks Jon, I have tried several bottles of wynn’s injector cleaner over the past months but it has done very little, I have also put in a bottle of BG244 injector cleaner 200 miles ago but has yet it has made no difference either. Kelvin.

Seems like the fault is with the regulator and Island 4x4 have agreed to send a replacement. I will let you know what happens when it arrives.

I have tried disconnecting then reconnecting the battery but nothing happened, just the rear window went down.

Thanks Odenne, When I replaced the regulator it was a complete unit and I have not removed the switch, I don't think the wires on the motor are on wrong as the plug will only go on one way. I bought the regulator from Island 4x4 and I am wondering if they sold me the right one?

Hi all, I have just replaced the drivers window regulator on my 2002 TD4 due to a snapped cable, easy enough job, but now the window’s direction is reversed when I use the switch, what have I done wrong? Cheers kellyt
