Thanks il look into getting a recon then, can the rear door lock be stripped and repaired? It looks as though a spring has come out of it but its riveted together? Also checked it over on a ramp and cant see any reason for it to be leaning? Springs worn?

Looking at a defender at the moment, 04 plate td5 it states that its had a clutch and has been serviced regular! I know the 200/300tdi will do this sort of miles but not found much on td5

Haha ok, im used to tinkering as im always playing with cars but didnt want bills for transfer box's, diffs and gearbox's as soon as i buy one 4-5k and iv seen 90s vary from 1985-1995 and 40k to 200k?!

Gathered that :D If i sell the mini i should have 4-5k to play with, would that fetch me a solid 300tdi?
