Today I have fitted a Vectra sliding armrest on top of standart one. Needs tidying up but perfect fit. Standart armrest is to low for me and was useless for resting arm. So cut a bit of old one and fitted vectra one on top. Looks oem. For me anyways haha Also planning to fit either MGF...

Direct swap. A bit different shape but fit snuggly in holes. And what a difference in spray. No annoying two jet adjustment.... I'll try to get link from fleybay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272433209889

Thanks Nodge. I only want to retrim roof lining and door cards to match seats. Seats came from 3 door model and I like them. What I am looking for is to rip fabric from door cards. It is desintegrating in hands anyways. I think it is only small bit at the top of door card. And glue new dark grey...

    Freelander 1 New Clutch

Yep it is. 200 to 250 quid to rectify the problem. That's with all new valves, new gasket, oil and filter change and new head bolts. All new seals. So it's getting started this saturday. Big strip and assessment. Might not need 16 new valves. But they very cheap about 7 quid each. New gasket set...

May have possibly bent valves trying to undo crankshaft pulley bolt :(

I didn't know that until I have opened timing plastic cover. Unfortunately it did fail and it is gettinv rectified now. So when I moved flywheel belt might have slipped. No offence intended to anybody.

May have possibly bent valves trying to undo crankshaft pulley bolt :(

Well I think it did. As I said. I did not noticed that my tensioner was not tensioning anything. So when it was ok it was ok. After clutch it was gone. Presumably I have spun flywheel and timing jumped. And yes. I have checked all electrical connections. Even put new coolant temp sensor just in...
