There are 2 holes on the underside of the engine mounts . I can see rubber right down on the holes I’m guessing this means they’re shot?? The rubber does push in about 10mm

Meaning push against the front face of the quick release black plastic ring in the direction of removing the pipe

You can use a 17 mm spanner or what ever size fits over the cooler pipe inlet /outlet to push the black plastic release ring back. The pipe will pop straight off.

Make sure you get the hose pipe out and give a good soaking before putting the headlining in. I discovered the top seal of the windscreen was also leaking through lack of sealer . I used CT1 sealant for the plastic boxes and windscreen . It’s the best stuff out there for sealing and it’s bond...

Yep it’s a crap design especially when the sealant used was substandard and poorly applied . RRC had the drain tubes incorporated in the sunroof tray so are metal, no problems there .

Don’t be quick to switch to coils, the air system is simple and easily fixable and that’s all aspects of it. Don’t be sent up the wrong path though with people banging on about the air bags leaking, yes they do leak but it’s not always the air bags. What exactly is happening ?

Issue, car with non leaky air bags as mentioned , working compressor and valve block and working ride height sensors sitting on its ass. Points to, with the help of diagnostics ,wiring issue or ecu fault. Process of elimnation and easy job, changed the wiring for new on the diagnosed known side...

So anyway I’m sure someone else will stumble across this post and will need the solution. After trailing through probably hundreds of threads about air suspension you’ll find loads of people who have changed their airbags (easiest job in the world ) who then bang on about leaky air bags being...

When I say I can find no info , I’ll spend ages reading similar post and then they never say what the final outcome was .

It’s not the “air bags”. Is there anyone here who knows a bit about any known ecu issues? Like i said Lh ride height sensor freezes even swapping for a known working one , indicates an issue with the connector, wiring or Ecu.

my d2 keeps pulling it’s pants down and sitting on the bump stops. Could be good for days or weeks then it goes down with no raising action, maybe if I leave it till the next day it will raise , weird!! Air bags are fine , compressor fine, valve block fine, ride height sensors new . Lh ride...

So what was to fix ? I know this was a long time ago but have the same problem

Thanks Spot I’d appreciate that . I’ll let you know how it’s going. It’s performing as it should at the moment. But I’m sure it will have thrown up a fault code

Good point , it’s 2004 disco 2 not really drivable because it’s been dropping it’s ass to the ground, down to the bump stops. I had to nurse it home at 2mph

I have a fault with the air suspension, I suspect ride height sensors but was wondering if anyone near by had some diagnostics no plug in. I’d gratefully pay anyone who’d be happy to help.
