hi mate is your fuel cut solenoid packing packing up as have had loads of fiat scudos with a similar prob and had a disco with the same prob about 2 month ago. just a thought.

hi i have a 300tdi disco and in the morning starting from cold its missfiring. i doesnt apear to be using oil, theres no mayonaise on the dip stick and its no using coolant, so im not suspecting the head gasket. i've put in new push rods ( all were bent ) and checked the valve clearances and set...

yeah found em with the help of a magnet. found some bent push rods so dont know how they got bent prob before i bought it, so have ordered a new hopefuly straight set.

hi all have done some digging around on the disco, changed the spade terminal - no change. so went and got a second hand binnacle - problem solved works a treat now.

hi, turned out that one of the adjusters on the tappets had snapped and wasn't openting the exhaust valve.

help, got a prob with my 300 disco, coming home tonight lost power and started banging. have took off the top intercooler to engine air plenum and its firing through the plenum. has any ever had this before and if so what was up? please help. many many thanks

hi i have a problem with my disco 1 300 tdi rev counter idling when shows low or no revs then at 70 shows over 4000 revs, is there a fix for the original binnacle or is it off down the scrapy? its had a new alternator before i bought it in january have had a look at the wires and all looks good...

hi thanks for the quick replies, was trying to pick up the feed from the back of the headlight, which was keeping em on all the time. will pick the feed up from the fuse box, as soon as the missus brings my disco back. thanks again.

hello all, i'm trying to wire in some spots on the front but i'm having trouble, can get them working, but wont switch em off. do you need a switch on the dash to turn them off and on with the main beam? any help would be gratefully recieved. thanks
