    fookin landrovers, lol right just checked the maf on the defender put the new one in, still 4 on the nanocom, what fuse is it on the defender to check? and looking at the nanaocom its throwing up all sorts of errors like abs, ,air con pump, neither of which i have, and its seeing an auto box...

    depending on how bad the HG has gone, i would be tempted with steal seal if its minor as for the rings seems like a big job dont know if it could be done with engine in car due to timing set up etc with them two problems may be easier to source a second hand lump

    when you refit the gasket just check the rear of the rocker and make sure the gasket goes into place properly at the cam shaft bit , it took me 4 goes to get it to seat properly
