Hi, ive tried to repalce my 300tdi's seal on the cooler pipe, the end which goes into the sump, The one i've put on, fits on the pipe ok, but won't fit in the recess on the sump end, has anyone had this problem, as i can't find it on the search. Many thanks for any replies Bemmy

FunnyKipper, Totally agree with you on cutting the bugger off, but don't want it to get the better of me so will give it one more go. Got a new oil seal and protector to replace when it's off. Matt, Might try welding a nut on Cheers Thanks for advice Guys Bemmy

Matt, Thanks for he offer i am gonna drill out the snapped bolt and re-thread and try more heat, hopefully not damaging it to much, i know the thread in the centre is only for LR's pricey tool, so should be fine to re-thread a size or two up. Again thanks very much Bemmy

While i've been helping G4S out with their so called security at the Olympics, something has got back into my Disco and started sueeking again!!! I've taken the Alternator off and going to get it refurbished, and see if that works. I'll keep this post updated Cheers Bemmy

Evening, I've just been given X5 285/75R 16 BF Goodrich AT's, i've seen a few threads, refering to lift kits,etc.. but can i just get them fitted to 16' rims and crack on or will it bugger me Disco up?? :confused::confused: what is the minimum requirement to prevent any damge, i only intend...

Guy's Thanks for all the advice on the 'Squeeking Disco' it's sorted now was the Drive Belt tensioner in the end, should of tried that first instead the water pump, but 'hey ho'. again thanks for all your time in replying with suggestions etc.. Bemmy:)
