MY RANGE ROVER CLASSIC 1987 IS 56 MM OUTSIDE DIAMETER FROM REAR BOX BACK just took off the stainless twin pipe outlet back box and fitted a side exit pipe love that v8 sound original twin pipe back box is straight through and as been cut off but ok for someone replacing to standard spec

1987 Range Rover Classic Petrol Manual Sometimes gears are crunchy when changing gears other times ok noticed some travel on pedal before clutch operates does it need adjustment from floor to pedal 140 mm which is right i think any suggestions appreciated

yes both windows open from individual switches

polished wood cappings on all four doors with bees wax measured up for cb radio to fit touched up small areas of paint another day another job completed

fixed radio with new aeriel everyday a little job ticked off the list

painted tow bar rear lower tail gate and added a V8 badge got underneath also and painted tow bar and put a nut / bolt into L bracket securing wing on inner side and then coat of black paint on front bumper

by 08.30 am had fitted mountney classic steering wheel well pleased as my home brewed wheel puller worked a treat why pay a tenner for something you might never use again ?

lpg i get about 18 mpg but overall cheaper option

nice motor i got 1987 range rover 3.5 v8 few weeks back with lots of history but i know challenges lie ahead but love that v8 burble on side exit exhaust

one month in using lpg on 1987 range rover classic 3.5 v8 efi and yeah need to do your homework to locate lpg stations on your route but if you add up the plus side well worth it first lpg vehicle and so far impressed watch this space ..............................

230 mile shake down run over 24 hours after range rover classic having new bits fitted and to really test the lpg theory thoroughly impressed on all fronts

just had a long read on hevac now im not sure

no but sounds like that or when lights are left on sound but a lower volume theres plenty of lpg in tanks so not that mind you im not sure if a lpg low on fuel bleep is fitted as only recently got the classic didnt affect the running so plodding on but being vigilant
