Hi there I currently have soft top 88" how hard is it to change it to a hard top for winter and back to soft for summer again ? in the introducing section I have put some pics under "blackpool lad gets series 3"

Thanks for the advice, I think I will leave it a while before I go swimming, to be honest I'd like one for the looks as well as the practicality but after seeing that I agree having one will only tempt me to go swimming

Thanks for the advice mate, went to the Red Rose Landrover club meeting last night, it was good so I've joined the club, thought if would be a good way to learn about my car and also get out and get it muddy. Also mate you still got the bonnet fixings going ?

I tried Google and EBay buy most of it is DIY and although there are some good ones I was looking for a kit I could buy and just bolt on, also unsure if there is anything in the engine bay I would have to change too, looks like I'll have to do some more reshearch. I think I'll wait till the new...

Hi there, as you may of seen I'm new to owning a Landrover got myself a 1983 2.25 petrol. I wanted to know if its possible to fit a snorkel and if so where would I be able to buy one, Cheers Mark

Im am going to wax oil it underneath, Ive stripped down the leaf springs and cleaned them and the coated them with some old engine oil and then the day after wax oil, my mate is going to get it up on a ramp and jetwash all the under body and then spray it all in wax oil

Made me chuckle that mate, think i'll give the Fabswingers a miss and not sure the Mrs will be into that, took me a while to talk her into getting a Landy..but I'm sure its something I can work on.:eek:

I'd also like to fit a snorkel to her, she is a 2.25 petrol any clues where I can pick one up

hi there on my series 3 88" 1983 ive got the dome thingy for the spare and the 4 rubber rest's for the wheel to sit on but no fixings, any one know of where to buy them or anyone selling them, can collect from Lancashire area

your not the first to say that, the mrs isnt to happy about the few drops of oil on the drive way and the fact the heater is broken in the old girl but when her mini got stuck Big smile on my face i came to the rescue, just not seen many series landrovers near me, just posh mums in rangerover sports

a friend of mine is going to get it up on this ramp and steam clean it all then spray wax oil on it, just waiting for him to get his old Jag off the ramp, cant wait to get her a bit more tidy thinking of a re-spray next year
