Great discussion and right on time for me, thanks! Heystee quoted a shade under €700 per set of 4 so around £585 in your lingo. What shockers would you use, as some (including Heystee) reckon gas shockers are needed with paras.

I've found a 5 bearing 2,25 petrol engine for my Series 3 rebuild. Before parting with my cash how can I verify it really is a 5-bearing engine? does anyone know the engine numbers at the changeover? any visual changes between engines? Thanks Steve
