looking at pics,, the reason inlet other end is cause alternator is in the way on the disco engine so hose has to go out the back, does it make any difference on how far apart intercooler and inlet are at all???

turbo bolts on ok, bottom intercooler pipe as normal, top pipe goes along and down the bulkhead end toconnect to inlet, job done lol

he done it to get round the down pipe prob as bolted straight on

i have a disco 200 as the engine num 12L but i have a defender manifold with 19 j turbo, but the inlet manifold is facing bulkhead instead of front so can i get 1 that goes other way round, bearing in mind turbo on top so cant use disco one!? thats all i really want to know? and if you can use...

just mean things like turbo, fuel filter, pas pump, alternator the add ons really, these ok to use? like i say the pipe from top of intercooler has to reach to the bulk head to reach inlet, can i get inlet that bolts other way round to reduce distance from intercooler, bearin in mind turbo on top??

ok when i say block i mean lump ie sump, block, head, timing belt lol think thats it tho i no mechanic!!

no m8 soz to look at it looks same as 200tdi defender engine with turbo up top, the only diff is the inlet manifold is other way round hence pipe coming off it out the back, think he just used 19j one that there before? maybe.

i had a 200tdi disco lump put in with a defender turbo (being on the top) but the inlet manifold has the open end coming out the back off the engine so have extra long flexi hose to reach intercooler! any1 know if can get 1 that will fit the other way round bearing in mind it has to pass under...
