Get some Steel wheel nuts matey the tapers are different where the nut hits the wheel on an alloy wheelnut they are curved. The steel wheelnut has a straight taper. Would get a piccie to show you but its dark now

Hey oop nice job on the Disco, was just wondering, what the thinking was on the positioning of the steering damper? mines attached to the track rod, is there any advantage to putting it on the drag link rod? Just wondering ... you know :rolleyes:

After scouring my OS map have found a possible lane for me to attempt. Just North of Lydford in Devon and it comes out near Lake. Anybody got insider info that I should be aware of? Gonna go see if I can find the entrance today and just check to see if it is a registered BOAT checked it...

Right read it, already know the techniques involved. Was just wondering if I can take it to a centre, where the alignment can be set, with all steering geometry set properly and not just by sight/feel.

Right the wonderbus needs the steering sorting the box is worn, (I know this) but the problem, I believe is the drag link bar. I have replace all ball joints, and set the drag link bar to the length it was, but after 2 wheel alignments (2 different centres) the steering wheel is still on the...

If you is looking for decent tyres on a budget try buying some partworns from Ebay I got 2 BFG MT's with 8mm tread and 2 Marshall Road Venture AT's with 8 mm tread fitted to Steelies for £85 plus the fuel to pick them up should last 15-20k miles so a decent stopgap til I can afford decent tyres:D
