i tried the water on the belts but no joy so i spoke to some guys in work and they suggested using 'belt spray' and spray on the cogs which i did......... and it cured the problem!!! so will keep an eye on the belt and change when required. thanks for all your help

thanks for the comments people! i have been using the old screwdriver trick for the sounding which is also very effective. i will try some water on the serpentine belt tomorrow and see how it goes. if it is the alternator bearing is that a brand new one or can the bearing be greased...

Guys just trying to put my seats covers inc head rest and arm rest covers but struggling to get the electric head rests out? Extended them fully but can't remove them. Looked in book but no joy. Any tips? Thanks again
