its a 200tdi and i dont think either prop is turning and i think i can drive in all gears if i put it in diff lock? i will double check 2moz at work. is it a gearbox out job to do transfer box without taken the whole box out?? thanks for all the advise will check all that i have been told to check!

the noise is comming from under gear stick so gear box area? props dont go round when out of diff lock.

WAHOO found the fault!! broken wire in the main wiring loom on the o/s wing. got to get some connetors 2moz to sort it then im out to play!! where and when we meeting??

thanks to every one who gave me advise to where to look but traced fault back to broken wire on o/s wing wiring loom. thanks again.

all ive done to cause it is wash under the bonnett but it was working fine after. 2days later no lights front or rear no radio and no horn wot an ass hole. checked the earths that i could find. next thing i think i will just check my wires to light switch and check conti and stuff. dont think...

just so u know there is an v8 with lpg looks clean on ebay for 1,500 may be worth a look

yeah love to mate got my special tracks to test now! but got to sort my light prob as ive lost power to my radio,horn and lights everything else works and ive checked the fuses and earths?? any ideas. 94 200tdi disco.

cool mate sounds cool!! but still gota sort my light prob first. left my light in the on position last night and they turn their selfs on and drain my battery?? doing my head in!!! some else said it could be the ign switch wots that sound like to u?? im not sure as u should be able to turn them...

left my lights on last night by misstake as i was checking things and they came on by them selfs and drained my battery???? really doing my head in now. ive not checked the ign switch but if im not wrong you can turn the light on or off without turning the ign on?? so could it still be the switch??

ive got another whole 94 200tdi for spares so i guess i could swop the swiches over yeah?:)

really?? i would never of thought it would be that? everything else works - the interia light? this is all since washing under the bonnet but was fine after washing it on sunday just didnt use it till tuesday. but if u think its that il strip it out and check it when i get chance as its visit...

thats really cool of you to offer but im not back from doing the X-mass vist rounds till boxing day then off visting other family day after lol the joys of X-mass. im free the 31th and the 1st but dont really want to take up ur holiday time with the family.
