Wheels can make a car, however I think 18/20 inch on a 55 or 50 are best suited to a P38. Now you need to watch thoses curbs! Deff a footballers car :) only joking. If you like it thats all that matters, though I would keep the originals for selling time.

i've read a few posts on here recently where people moan about the realiablity of the P38's. I know this is a forum where people submit problems but I wanted to shout out to everyone :) about mine. I've just returned from Switzerland (2K mile round trip) where the car was fully laden cost me...

Ive seen that alot and the P38s never had ESP. The disco2's have some thing called ACE which helps keep the body level when cornering. The p38 have traction control on the rear wheels <99 and full traction crontrol >99. ESP uses brakes to help keep the car cornering rather than sliding.

I can never under stand why they strech them, but then leave the rear door the same size! no matter how cool / bling :confused: they are, there are not very glam to get in & out of.

The aux socket can take a maximum of 5amps and the fridge runs at 5.5. But acroding to the manual the circuit which operate the rear central locking / fuel filler is on a 30 amp fuse. I dont intent to use all 3 at the same time? Ill give it a go and wire in a adaptor.

I have found the mentioned cable. Would it be worth connecting to it a putting in a seprate lower fuse? If i were to run seprate wires, where would they connect to? theres no easy way to run the wires to the battery? Also would this run things in the caravan like fridges etc..
