it looks like a very small unit so i wouldnt imagine it would be very powerfull

i didnt have to do a camel cut or anything to her , iv put all 4 wheels up into the arches pretty much all the way by driving just one side at a time up a ramp and they dont rub at all anywhere

i agree with that , i fitted 265/75/16 s on my 200 tdi without any mods and it gives a couple of extra inches diff clearance

just read thro the owners handbook and according to that at a contstant 56 mph my 200 tdi should get 42.4 mpg :eek: . has anyone got anywhere near that or were them figures done on a rolling road cos the best i can manage is about 33 - 34 mpg

according to my owners handbook they are as follows ( all in degrees) - max gradient - 45 approach angle - 39 departure angle ( with tow bar ) - 20 departure angle ( without towbar) - 29 break over angle - 30 min ground clearance - 214 mm wading depth - 500 mm hope that helps

i can confirm from experience that on a 200 tdi i can do 65 miles from the light coming on to running out of diesel , i drove past 1 garage and tried getting to my local asda to save 1p a litre and run out in between . cost me a lot more cos the guy in the garage charged me £10 for a fuel can...

when i filled my 200 tdi with some water contaminated diesel a while back i lifted the boot carpet up and removed the cover to gain access to the fuel level sensor . removed that in 5 mins and dropped pipe in the tank and syphoned it all out . quick and easy :)

they should be ok as long as u use inner tubes , iv done thousands of miles in various car where i had put tubes in a tyre after a puncture

i used the green flag last year to tow a car from south london to south wales for fook all :D . join up their full breakdown package , i think it was about £14 a month . go to where the car is and phone them to say you were towing it home and your cars clutch started slipping / or engine...

i changed the front brake pads on my 200 tdi just over 2 weeks ( and 500 miles ) ago and ever since the drivers side disc gets so hot under even gentle braking it turns blue and smoke comes from the pads :eek: .it got so bad today that my brakes faded like hell and i had to throw water ofover...

so i guess it wasnt very legal of me to tow my last car from brighton to south wales on an Aframe back last year :eek:

it could be the bias plate cos my 200 tdi does that and i was told i need a new bias plate

i got 3 BFGoodrich radial all terrain baja champion tyres on my disco but iv never seen ones like this before , wot i mean is all other bfgoodrich at's iv seen dont have radial or baja champion written on them but the tread looks the same :confused: . does anyone know if there are any difference...
