i got 265/75/16 s on my standard 200tdi without any mods and even fully loaded they dont rub anywhere

has anyone got a spare wheel carrier for a disco1 , mine give in to the tin worm today and i nearly lost my wheel down the road ( lucky i seen it move about a lot in the mirror :eek: ) . if anyone in south wales has one they would like to swap for beer vouchers send me a p m thanks

isnt £250 a bit steep for 1 new and 4 part worn remoulds ? i bought 2 brand new runway enduro A/T 's a few weeks ago for £70 a piece and that was for 265/75/16 s

just use the standard size thats wot i done and its perfectly legal and if u have a puncture it wont matter about the size difference cos thats wot a diff is for

funny u should mention that cos i put a new battery in about 10 months ago and cos the terminals were the wrong way round i had to pull the negative lead and it popped out of that earth point on the wing , i seen it went further down so i thought fook it :eek: . everything worked fine without it...

thanks guys but i just found the problem , a blown interior light fuse . It gave some strange symptoms tho cos the radio has its own fuse .

on my way home just now in my 200tdi i noticed my radio wasnt working ( not even lit up ) and when i braked or indicated i could hear a staticy crackling noise thro the speakers in time with the indicators or whenever i pressed the brakes :confused: . i also noticed that with my side or...

im averaging 30 - 35 mpg in my 200tdi and i dont drive very slow , that much better than my brother in laws shogun 2.8tdi , he is lucky if he gets 22 mpg on the run :eek:

i got just over 90mph out of my 200 tdi but with remould tyres on the back ( my old colways ) and i chickened out when the temp gauge went just over 3/4 of the way up

im assuming you mean 245/70/16 cos 145 sounds a bit narrow :D . they will fit without any mods cos i fitted 265/75/16 s without any mods and 245 s are only 10mm wider than standard

where did you have the mot done cos if he missed it i wanna take mine there :D
