    Ok, so where would i buy the fob from?? if i went to a breakers and bought a fob, could i program it myself doing the old keylock turns etc or does it need to be done at the dealers?? They are pretty expensive? Cheers

    Best bet would be to spray the other bolt with loads of WD40 and leave it a few hours, Try again, you need to remove it, if you want a chance of getting the broken one out.     As per Freelander Instruction Manual HDC works only if 1 or R is selected not up/down shifting in D position If you change to any other position then 1 or R green light will flash indicating gear not read for HDC and DHC is disabled Hope that helps ;)
