yes yes I know, and a lift kit. Believe me if my ticket comes up you will be one of the first to know about it :) I took the missus and kids on Sunday and after every bump and bang under the car, I sighed, "hmmm a lift kit would sort that love" (I'm trying :D)

Had the backbox of my exhaust refitted, it decided to start rattling and vibrating and finally detached itself from the main exhaust tube today after last Sunday's green laning. Must have caught it :)

Well I went green laning yesterday afternoon and evening. I chucked some water at it during my dinner time to find out I now have a few "go faster" stripes down each side :( Oh well, lets hope they polish out :D

Well I only ordered 2 cos I didn't know I should have bought 3, although I only actually knackered up 2 :D I was "being helpful" and splitting my prop ready for a replacement VCU, but my mechanic mate caught me and gave me a bollocking :D

I have just recentlly fitted some Philips Extreme Visions, £17.30 off ebay. Must say I'm +100% happy with them, been green laning this evening and at the side of my mate's jeep, his were like candles compared to mine.

You are of course correct. There are 3, not two as I said previously. I know I only replaced the two closest to the VCU on mine and completely forgot about the 3rd on the rear prop that connects to the diff. Apologies if I misled you with my lack of knowledge :)

Newbie question I'm afraid... Where exactly is the DPF on my L series ?

Refitted the props and new s/h VCU along with new UJ's and bearings, then this evening been with a couple of mates for a 50 mile green laning trip around the Peak District. Loved every minute and my Freebie performed beautifully as expected :)

Today, I have mostly been playing with VCU's... Took a suspect one off mine, and bench tested another two, one of which was from Freelanderspares (guess the results from that one :D) Testing was done in a bench vice using half an old UJ with a 90cm bar and two 10lb sledgehammers tiewrapped...

Yeah got to be green, seeing as even my stereo has green illumination. They all appear to be blue or orange though :(
