Yeah I have the black bit in your picture. Might need to cable tie it on also as a temporary fix also Does it matter at what point it is attached to the cable? Also how would it recognise if the choke was on out of interest? Thanks

I have a series 3 petrol 2.25. From what I understand when the choke is out the switch should relay that info to the cold start light that turns it on

Hi, I have a choke cable switch that is not connected up to the cable. So it is currently sending a signal to the dash to light up the cold start light. Could anyone tell me how to connect it to the choke cable so it works correctly. Thanks

Hi, Does anyone know which bulb is needed to light up behind the speedo. I read somewhere it's a 12v screw bulb. Is this correct? Thanks

It cuts out after been moving and when to drop the revs to stop at a junction it just cuts out. Even with the choke out it struggles to start up. Could this be a spark plug problem?

Hi, I have a series 3 2.25 petrol that when started up from cold takes a while to fire up. It sounds like it turns over fine but takes maybe 10 seconds to fire up. Once it is fired up and driving for the first time from cold sometimes it cuts out when revs are taken off. Any advice?
