Hi All, Took my series 3 out today in the snowy conditions and the raditor was getting hot and boiling over. I have topped up various times and still the same. Any ideas? I would have thought if it had iced up it would have defrosted by the time it had got to boiling?

Another week in Landy ownership means another problem to fix. This one is a front wheel that sits a bit wonky. Any idea what is could be? Wheel bearing? King pin bearing? When it is jacked up it doesn’t wobble and there is no ‘death wobble’ when driving it? TIA

Update: after checking the suggestions above and getting nowhere. Working behind the back of the dash cheickng to old wiring. The earth for the hazzard switch and trailer warning light is on the same bolt and when moves make a small click from the relay but lights still stay solid.explains why...

I have had a new one from Paddocks just before last winter and it got used a fair bit over winter. Not had a single problem with it. At the end of the day its a metal bar with 2 "Studs" on the end. Cant go that wrong

Finnally got round to bending the poles. They fit the back but havnt tried with the hood yet. They are not quite symetrical but i can adjust when i see how it fits.

If I was to fit a sleeve wouldn't I have to turn back the area for the sleeve to sit in and find a sleeve to sit in there to make it flush with the rest of the shaft?

I did the ones that earthed from the light lenses.

I had a similar problem with mine. I changed the relay and cleaned and put new bolts in the earths and it sorted it. I have heard that bad earths are a common cause of this problem.

Have you used this before Tall Ratbag? Just wondering how good a seal it makes?

I'm looking to change the transfer box rear output flange oil seal as it is losing a lot of oil now. I have tried changing just the seal in the past but leaks have still got through so I will need to change the flange aswell as it isn't making the positive contact with the seal to stop the oils...

Check the exhaust! Could be a mounting or join that needs tightening
