    if it is the fuel rail pressure it'll prob be the rail pressure sensor, there is a modified kit available that replaces the sensor and wiring to the ecu. other than that i've known the variable vane turbo cause similar effects

    hello just a quick thought: is there a possibility of it being the body flexing at the o/s/r? i've known a few with this problem when the double skinned area ,around the rear subframe mounts, starts to seperate.

    yeah it's the same thing, it's under the air filter cover/housing, on the top of the turbo pipe

    hello try the air flow meter. they don't tend to log a fault but cause this problem.

    hello the last time i encountered a similar sounding fault it turned out to be a coilpack was not working, when i took the HTleads off at the plug end they were all corroded up where they hadn't been firing correctly. might be worth a quick look for the sake of 5 mins pulling a few plug...

    hello i had the same fault on some ferrodo pads i fitted, it turned out the whole batch from where i got the pads from was faulty. other than this it's most likely to be a worn caliper

    Retro Power Steering

    hello Retro fitting power steering isn't a problem, i'd have thought the biggest hassle would be finding the pump bracket to bolt to the block, they're a fortune new. other than that it depends on if you're wanting to go for a new steering box? prob around £200 new. if not you'd prob get it...

    Transfer box oil gl4 or gl5

    the td5 transfer box uses 75/90 oil the same as the diffs, as opposed to the earlier t/boxes and axels using ep80/90.
