Just another thought came to me. When i picked up a heavy trailer the other day the fog light cm on and stayed on till the trailer was put down. Didn't have the electrics connected to the trailer at any time either.

Thanks for that information. Next question though is :: is there any difference between the turbo and non turbo injection pump on the 2.5 diesel?? Only the guy who has this pump for sale doesn't know which one it's from.

I can't see that it could be the head gasket because the same thing was happening to the old engine before i replaced it. Any other ideas would be much appreciated, but i'm going to get the injector pump checked out as a next step. Thanks again
