I Have found a full rear axle for a Landrover stage 1 v8. from what I know these have the 3.54 ratio diffs, AND a salisbury on the rear only thing is its a fair distance from me, and the person selling has offered me the crown wheel and pinion (a lot easier to ship) for cheaper so how...

yea, just bought a new crank handle for my landy (didn't have one before) and a new pinion seal for the front diff.

yuck mdf is nasty stuff. i want mine to be pretty standard, but I reckon as long as its not something that is only there to look cool and get kudos from nissan drivers then you should be allright functional = good.

my front pinion seal just went, and when it did it sprayed oil all over everything, including the springs. lol they are soaked in it :D got a new seal now but need to install it.

oh and I notice you have a rubber strip glued to your accelerator pedal, is that normal? I always thought the bare metal was standard for landy accelerators

I winced when I saw the state of the bulkhead. good luck and that looks like its going to be a lot of welding.

do you mean the lid for the toolbox on the back left side of the tub? if so I can take a few pics for you oh and I did see some metal clips to hold something like a bar on the bulkhead behind the seats, if you fold the seat backs forward you might have this. worth checking out.

when I got my series 3 lwb it had no movement in the front springs at all, I could jump on them and it wouldn't even budge packed them with oil/grease and they are fine now.

I have already had about 10 people asking me if I am going to paint it green. argghh im leaning toward marine blue now (the light one) or maybe plain white :D

the modifications I have done/ am doing are all easily reversible. im trying to make it suit my purposes a bit better, but I certainly don't want to do anything that can't be undone easily by another person.

well over here people peer in even more if you have curtains Plus I still want to be able to see out the sides. As for a stereo, I'm getting a cheap one. Well probably anyway I don'twant to paint her green, everyone does that over here. Maybe marine blue?
