I have ordered a new master but I'll try your way of bleeding it first if not I'll try the new master before splitting the gear box from the engine again because as you said the slaves...

Freelander 1 TD4 clutch replacement problem!!!

Hi All, I've just built the car back up after changing the clutch and replacing it with a solid DMF conversion its the freelander 1 TD4 on a 03 plate so it haves the bleed-able hydraulics. I started bleeding the clutch up and with no luck it wouldn't go in to gear with the engine running and...

Great little tutorial there ceffyn, simple but effective and will hopefully make people think before going out and buying new seen as we seem to becoming a throw away society. I'm certainly no green piece lover I just like looking after my money and this is a saving!

    Juddering 300

Yeah I'd defiantly try fuel lines first and probably one of your cheapest option they cost me £18 and took a hour or so... If you do fuel lines just bypass the sediment there useless pieces of poo and are pointless being there I know the defender 300tdi they didn't bother with them. Josh

    Freelander 1 Clutch Replacement...

    Juddering 300

I had a similar problem it's turned out to be getting air in the fuel so I renewed the fuel lines as they had joins in them and bypassed the sediment filter... It worked a treat but now the lift pumps knacked so I'm fitting an electric one soon!

    Best anti theft option?

I agree with kwakerman go for more visible security what will put them off and it's "too long of a job" removing it all to pinch... Even if you do a hidden switch give them 10 minutes to pop the bonet and run a live feed to the solenoid and starter and there away. You could always shell out and...
