I got my tracking done a week or so back after fitting new track rod ends - what a difference! I can actually go round corners now without feeling like I'm gonna end up in the ditch. I've been considering replacing the steering damper - just not sure whether it needs it or not! What made you...

    Raptor dash... wash wipe? Gauges?

I've got oil pressure, turbo boost pressure and water temperature on my "Mud Pod" Wait! Why have I got water temperature there? When I swapped engines my original gauge didn't operate properly with the new sender unit - the new gauge came with it's own sender. I've now added a second...

    Security item on eBay

What a rip-off! £12 for a 99p switch and a couple of crimp terminals. I really wish I'd thought of it first! As everyone else has said - it'll be a switch in the feed to the fuel solenoid. Dead easy to do it yourself.

How can I check my land rovers authenticity?

I bought a Series 2 that turned out to be a Series 3 that had been given an earlier identity - presumably to make it road tax exempt. Rightly or wrongly I sold it on as I just didn't want that hanging over me. In my case it would have been very difficult to prove what had happened, since the...

Steel Wheels - Inside Face (Rear)

I had mine off at the weekend - was going to clean the insides, but luckily my hub seals are leaking so badly that the wheels have a nice coat of oil inside and out so they ain't going to rust in a hurry! :o

    Broke My Brakes

That's cool - I get that. I bled the system fully this afternoon - new fluid all the way through to each brake. The car was bone dry underneath so I was able to check all the pipes and hoses - no sign of any leaks. It still seems more like a master cylinder failure than anything else.
