Undoubtedly. But the seller of the nuts I bought didn't specify, so it's his responsibility I'd say. He seems like a good chap though, was profusely apologetic about courier delays and I hadn't even contacted him.

Ok, well I posted then ended up pretty much answering my own questions with the help of Dr. Google. :) So I've ordered a set of "spigot rings" as the only difference is bore size, the stud pattern and offset are a perfect match, and these were only £4 each. So I'm good to go on the wheels -...

Aha, ok. Hmm.. as far as I can tell (and I'm only going by what sites such as AlloyWheels.com tell me) is that both the P38 and the L322 have a PCD of 5x120 and an offset of 30 to 50. The bore on a P38 is 70.1 and on an L322 it's 72.6, which I guess means the wheels will fit over the hub...

So is it a total no go, or would spacers do the trick do you know? From what little I've been able to glean (and understand) from various sites on the interweb, the PCD and offset seem to match, but the centre "bore" is slightly different. What this means in real terms I haven't the foggiest...

Will 18" hurricanes that came standard on an L322 fit my 1995 P38? Will I need spacers, etc, if so can anyone advise which? Or is it a bad idea to use spacers? I've no idea, hence asking.. Thanks in advance.

Well I'm only about 30 mins from J25 so if we can confirm fitment I'll definitely have them off you. Maybe I'll post on the main RR forum and see if anyone can confirm what I'll need in the way of spacers, etc.

Well, the car's starting again now.. but theoretically nothing's changed! zzr1200 kindly offered to stop by on his way home from work and, doing all the dirty work for me, went through all the diagnostic steps. The relay was working correctly, but no power seemed to be getting to the starter...

Ok so I tested the relay properly, per your instructions Wammers, and it tests ok. Thanks to work commitments and the impending winter months, I ran out of daylight again. I don't know where the starter motor is at the best of times, so I'm not going to try to spot the connector in the dark...

Ok, I'll hopefully confirm tomorrow. One quick question (and sorry if it seems dumb) but should I have the ignition on (position 2) or off when doing the starter motor tests? Or doesn't it matter?

This is excellent stuff. While you were replying I've been outside playing around (couldn't wait until morning) and I tested MF2 and that's ok. I then pulled Relay 16 and swapped it with the EAS relay which appears to have identical numbers on it, but it still doesn't turn over. It "clicks"...
