    Possible Heater Matrix problem?

According to RAVE, your missing fuse 8 (30A) is for phone, amplifier, cig lighter, radio, heating and ventilation + air con. There should be a spare 30A in one of the sockets or under the bonnet. try one and see if any of the items above work..............

    Possible Heater Matrix problem?

It doesn't sound as if the repair guy is a complete bodge monkey, he could after all have just said to bugger off. The repair to the 'o' rings seems to have worked but I'm at a loss as to how he could have buggered the blower fans (both of them at that) in the process

Air intake / pollen filter water leak fix

Been out this morning, the intention being to spray around with the hose and check for any sign of leaks. I forgot to mention in the original post that when I refitted the pollen filter housing I used silicone sealant on the basis that this was an obvious leakage point. Anyway, I ended up...

    overheating.

As I think most on here will say, start with the cheapest options first - pipe leaks, rad leak, water pump leakn etc before thinking about the engine. Under what conditions does, the car overheat, is there coolant loss, is there any trace of water in the oil. My own car suddenly started...

Can matrix leak coolant into heater ducts

i did the drains (together with the sunroof) not long ago, defo not them. This is definitely coolant IN the flow of air rather than there being dampness in the car and the warm air raises humidity levels to the point where misting occurs. The coolant smell is the giveaway its just that I cannot...

Can matrix leak coolant into heater ducts

Is it possible for the heater matrix to leak coolant into the air ducts. I ask because in the last couple of days, as soon as the engine gets to temperature and the heater starts to blow warm air, the car quickly mists up, predominantly on the N/S, and there is the distinct whiff of coolant in...

    Heating System

Rave also mentions that you must remove the bleed pipe from the top left of the radiator as you refil the system. Blow it through the clear any debris/obstruction, refit and elevate the flexible pipe as you refil. Once you have run the car to normal temperature, if there are still any air locks...
