Hi ppl , I have 18inch wheels on my Freelander, if I want to put chunkys on it what size of wheels and tyres should I go for , say I get a set of 16 inch wheels, what tyre size should I get to keep it the same as the 235/50/18 I have the now

I'm waiting to see the replies too mate , been going through the various threads and all I'm seeing is tales of woe , I'm at the stage in thinking ive got the only good Freelander or its just about to break !!

Its not my first 4x4 , had a swb shogun which saw some pretty muddy tracks and never once let me down but that had all the diff locks I could use , I don't have the time or inclination any more for weekend treks would rather spend it with my daughters , hence I opted for a Freelander its a sport...
