Hello , names graham , just bought my first lr a Freelander 2 , its an 05 model sport in black , done 80 k , not had it a week yet but quite happy with it , only small fault , and I do mean small, is my mirrors , they aren't strong enough to stay in position, ie the wind is blowing them in ! Before I go taking them apart thought I would ask here, any thoughts , cheers

Wait until they get wet. You're really not going to like it.

Its not my first 4x4 , had a swb shogun which saw some pretty muddy tracks and never once let me down but that had all the diff locks I could use , I don't have the time or inclination any more for weekend treks would rather spend it with my daughters , hence I opted for a Freelander its a sport model but deffo lacks in equipment and refinement next to the shogun but giving me no problems on the road so far , had it on one of the dirt tracks near house and other than clearance no issues , has anybody lifted a Freelander, keep playing in my head , lift it and get a winch , even tho I say I'm done with the mud its always in the back of my mind
