Have you had your wheels balanced lately? I had a similar probelm and found when balancing the tyres i had a knackered tyre.

Dunno really how to describe the problem but here goes: The springs that hold your stick near gears 3/4 in neutral, dont seem to be working. Well on is lazy and now it hangs around near 1/2. Not a problem i here you cry - until you try to drive it and have to fish around for 3 or 4. And...
