    Purely because it looks horrible having a plug in USB adapter to the cigarette port, I woul like to mount a flush usb to the dash or under the dash , I just don't want anything coming out of cigarette port.

    Does anyone know of a 12-volt source that I can tap into.to add a step down converter to bring it to 5 volt to add USB ports for charging purposes. don't want an external device coming out of cigarette lighter. Thanks in advance

    Ok so due to the lack of knowing if anything was missing , I have now not only bought the part in question , but have also had someone else look at it and say ..... "Ye thats missing a plastic bit that is" So plastic bit should solve issue , thanks all involved .

    Ah ok I see, I plan to do as much to it as I can regarding maintenance and repairs and in the next few months investing in a mig welder, "just in case" I was hoping to blast the entire underside with pressure washer , wait for it to dry , and waxoyl the hell out of it .
