got this in nov last year and since getting it it has had a problem with the rev counter ..at tick over or while driving the rev counter bounces by about 500/700 rpm even if your on motorway at a steady road and engine speed. got me completely beat have any of you had/fixed this fault

if the visible body mounts are in sound condition or have light surface corrosion which does not significantly weaken them you can pass and advise but there are "prescribed areas" ie seat belt mounts suspension mounts etc that are not allowed to have corrosion within a 30cm area of them in any...

yes but a mot tester IS NOT ALLOWED TO REMOVE any body trim/mouldins to check behind. the critiriea states if it is not visible he may not remove covers and must give the benefit of doubt and pass and advise that item can not be checked due to the fitment of sill covers..etc same rule applies...

old saying springs to mind "if its aint broken dont try to fix it" i,m a great beliver in getting the belts changed [inc aux drive belts] changed at or before the recommended interval
