P38A 4.0 mpg when towing car trailer?

Believe me, you wouldn't want me anywhere close to any DIY :D PS: there is maybe a reason why gypsies choose German caravans and not British ones to live in and why they tow them with a Japanese 4x4 and not a Range ;) Anyway, I don't care about image whatsoever. I don't see why I should go on...

That sounds very odd. Sure the former owner didn't curb two of the wheels and replaced them by cheap copies bought on eBay/

I would recommend you come off your island once and check what the rest of the planet looks like. Meanwhile, a crash course in politeness would do you good too.

P38A 4.0 mpg when towing car trailer?

I never said I stuck to the regulations. You always stick to 70mph with your car on the motorway? As for max trailer size, in Europe you can have a caravan that is more than 7m long (mine is 7m50 body + drawbar = 9m60 total) and it can be 2m55 wide. The same law applies in the you since 20...

P38A 4.0 mpg when towing car trailer?

Yup. Doing that since 2008 and never even had a warm moment, despite crossing Europe North to South at least twice a year. The equipment is more than adequate (wide and stable caravan, good stabilisers, heavy car that also had a long wheelbase + air suspension, ...) and I do have quite a bit...

    L322 Instrument panel upgrade possible?

Been searching the web but can't find any clues. Can you replace the instruments of a 2007 by the digital ones of a 2009-2010?

Is MPG on the L322 4.2 any better?

P38A 4.0 mpg when towing car trailer?

I tow a 32" caravan (2200kg) with an S63 AMG. Needs approx 10mpg. (Doing 90mph all the way on the motorway though).

    Where do you live?

I live in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, which is a peninsular between Nice and Monaco. They call me 'the Swede', but in fact I'm a Belgian who also lived in UK, Finland and Switzerland.

How do you add a pic here? Photobucket? Well, also have an E65 BMW 750i Sport, a Merc 300SL-24 and we're now just finishing a Merc 320E (W124). They're actually not that bad in insurance. BMW, AMG and Evo around 700 per year fully comp. The SL and 320E are registered at our house in France and...

Not sure, but cannot be a disaster. I have a Merc S63 AMG on the drive and a Mitsi Evo IX with 440bhp ... (and the worst in insurance is my caravan  )

The 4.4 is quite a bit more expensive still than the 3.6 though. :(

True. Then again, if your geometry is so buggered... maybe you should have seen that as you got into the car?

Luck draw then ;) Ashame as there really is not too much information around on for instance the real life reliability and fuel consumption of the 4.2 SC. (I've had the 3.6 TDV8 as a renter few times and... it's thirsty. Very thirsty. So not sure a petrol would be so much worse)

Hmmm... Main response I got was "we've explained this before, search for it" (not found anything, tbh) or "google" ... :(

Jeez. Amazing. Been around cars for quite a while but I don't know any other car where the system is monitoring the wheel articulation to then determine if it shuts down the air suspension. Thanks for the explanation :)
