I'm fairly sure it's not enforceable and you can drive round it. What you cannot do is move it, or cones out the way to get past.

Seems to have been a few go missing in this part of Essex over the last few weeks :(

Seems the helicopter was used for illumination according to the BBC news. Pretty stupid as the depth markers are easy to see at that Ford as well.

Thanks for your answers guys. I think it is an electronic issue as when I checked the battery it only had 8.4 volts across the terminals. It is a late '89 I believe so I've found some bits from the 1990 manual have applied to it. I'll try taking it out later and see what happens!
