id go with changing the air springs first. forget the coil springs p38 was ment to run with air springs.

vc fan was tested via puting a mates arm into it when engine was hot it dint stop but was funny. the thormostat, water pump, and rad are all new.

just pull it out the pin will snap before the base. your gunna need a new pin any way. I found a welding rod fit well for a temp fix on the new one.
