you can sometimes tell if the head gasket has been leaking by removing the oil filler cap and check to see if the oil looks normal, if it has a whitish tinge and seems creamy then you have water contamination, this can also cause white smoke from the exhaust.

Have You Checked Your Head Gasket??? Could Be That Water Is Getting Into The Engine!!!

HI ALL bit of a prob, in the process of reconnecting wiring after bulkhead change but unsure where the green wire from the fuel tank goes into which block on the bulkhead, labelled them but the ink has come off...dohhhh any help much appreciated. alex

this is by far the hardest work to do in a chassis/bulkhead swap, its taken me about 9 hours so far on my own to do the dash/ loom swap to the donor bulkhead, very tedious when you havent done it before!!!!!

hi all just doin my bulkhead swap from my rusty old 200tdi to a td5 bulkhead, just wonderin` what probs to expect, any help much appreciated:)

startin the transfer of the gubbins off old bulkhead to new bulkhead tomorrow, rewrapped the loom today and fed through the chassis using some coax cable to pull it through, and reattached brake lines using goodrich braided hoses!!!
