Just took of the door panel and the cable that winds the window is frayed, can just the cable be replaced or do i have to buy a new motor? Any other tips on removal and re fitting would be great to, thanks in advance:mil36:

Your probably right, what do you think to the modified BMW part, some say they have problems fitting it and have to make a few minor adjustments, some say it fits fine, you got one?

Took it out and cleaned it in turps my self, all intercooler steam cleaned to, got 12 months warranty as well.

Got some one else to do it in the end, brand new Garrett turbo, fitted £900. Not bad as Landrover wanted £1700, dont know where they get there prices from, must just pick one out of the air, robin tossers. Thanks for your comments anyway.

Thanks, sorted, it was a broken connector in the small block that pushes on to the lighting unit, as for the heated windscreen, that was just me being a joey, forgot the engine had to be running for them to work:crazy: i just had the key turned, cheers.

Interior lights and reading lights not working when switched manually but the interior lights only work when the door is opened, also the heated screen switch and heated mirror switch dont work either, checked all fuses, even the ones under the bonnet but all ok, im stumped! any ideas greatfully...

chromiumuk, thanks for taking the time to give me the info, found the filter tonight and for now cleaned it with turps till i get the chance to change it, but at least i know where it is now(thanks Ash to for helping). Now, next question, what is and where is the MAF? Im not new to mechanics but...
