HELP while changing the doorlock on my Discovery 2 I've managed too lock the car with me on the outside looking land feeling like a complete idiot. the new lock (second hand) wont work and the key fob is staring at me from the centre console.The bonnet is open but that's it. Can anyone help me?

Hi All, I have been looking at the above on ebay today and listing after listing said " rear prop removed for better mpg". This smells like the hold on a Grimsby trawler, if you want good mpg, you don't buy a 4x4 in the first place. What's the problem guys?

Thanks to all for your replies to my post, just looking to increase my chassis height as I have underslung LPG tanks, it's easy to work out diameter with 3 figures ie" 235/65/16" but not with 2 ie 750/16.

Hi, I have a Disco 1 V8i and it's been modified on the suspension ( yellow coils if that's relevant ) could anyone tell me the height from the ground to the rear wheel arch, of a standard vehicle, the previous owner said it was fitted when he bought it. Regards Ron

That's the stuff, not cheap but worth it for peace of mind.

I fixed my sunroof problem, 2 sheets of 1.5mm aluminium , tube of caravan sealant, box of pop rivets, problem solved! The worst designed sunroof ever made.

Hi Folks, Just joined, had an interest in Land Rovers for years, first bitten by the bug when I was in the forces. Owned lots over the years most models, at the moment it's an old battered Disco 1 3.9 V8 running mostly on LPG ( petrol costs prohibitive).
