Hi all, took the bulb out of the high level brake light (TD4 2004) but nothing written on it to find a replacement, its a push in connection...haynes manual doesn't say the bulb spec either. nearest one I can can figure is the 921/955. Anyone confirm please.

so should I be looking elsewhere or is it going to be ok for the next 6 months when I change it anyway ??

Hi Julianf, yep the price is a bit better, but same oil (10w-40) is £17:99 BOGOF there also, Just that I needed the 5w-30 oil for easy winter starting. but thanks for checking my post...someone is watching.

so fellas what is the best oil for my TD4 ? guess its the 5-30w fully or semi, as I usually change it every 6 months so doesn't need to be mega bucks but still decent. thanks

I love my freelander.

because "flat" I mistakenly thought that the hose had a different diameter at one end...what a plonk eh, but it works great anyway.

no you don't have to remove the hose to fit it inline, just cut and insert it...but buy the one with the 33mm outlets on both ends.

got mine from ebay and the local landrover indi programmed it and my original one (because you you have to have all of the key fobs reprogrammed at the same time) and he charged me £40, 5 mins work for him....

I always use an independent, and yes he does know his stuff, so as NoDosh says find a good one...cheaper, better

hi martin its probably the same as mine is...td4 04 plate, if you press the button on the extreme right top of the radio...above the "ok" knob, a flap drops down and you can see the cd slot then, plays then ok. if you are still stuck I can post a pic of the button.

mine is a 04 plate, done 126k runs sweet, but bought with a recent vcu, new props, and rebuilt rear diff...at about 90k so hope to get a few years out of it. (I had the ird and gearbox oil changed just in case )

I bought a new sunroof, put it in and pulled the fuse for it, nice light in but no water, no problem.
