Yea would only be temp measure. Just done a full service and found the UJ problem when I went to grease it. There's always something!

Aft'noon all. Just discovered the UJs on my front prop are shagged. Is there any issue with removing and driving with difflock engaged until I have replaced it? Need to go out in an hour!

With the aerodynamics of a brick its not a surprising mpg at that speed! I do between 60-65mph on longer runs and it doesnt seem to effect my mpg too much.

RAC rescued me no bother late at night after id broken down. To be fair it wasnt actually RAC they sent a local company who after speaking to me on the phone, just sent a flatbed straight out to recover me to home.

I cut mine off, tried a 3 leg puller and couldnt budge it.

I got offered £105 for the defender and 2.1k for the works vauxhall combo

Theres fook all in lincolnshire for greenlanes, which i find weird for the amount of fields we have! We do have kirton for pay and play and a couple of good spares suppliers (famous four and Rimmerbros).

Black hammerite on my rear X member. I did notice today that a couple of spots of rust are showing through again though.

Ive found famous four to be a touch on the expensive side for parts which is a shame as its only 15mins away. Try rimmerbros in lincoln. Not 100% how good their delivery service is but price wise they are spot on and probably have 98% of landy bits on the shelf.

I would avoid the "extras" and focus on a sound standard 90. £4k isnt a huge budget for a decent 90 tdi.
