not sure about mpg but after changing the normal standard tyres to the larger ones my fuel is around + 30-40%, it's very noticable, do you think it could be the type of tyre? there AT tyres but you could mistake them for mud tyres also, the tyres seem a lot slower

hi folks i have a landrover defender td5 which i use for my job as a forester, i had the standard tyres (205/80/r16 i think), but desided to replace them with bigger tyres, i put on 234/85 r16 tyres and my fuel consumpion has gone through the roof....can anyone tell me what the best type...
