Managed to get microcat working today and the only part listed is the full gear selector with cable. A mere £254 !!! Has anybody on here replaced the cable itself ? I cannot believe you have to replace the full selector just to replace the cable. Even for LR that is crazy.

I had one fitted but it is going back. It is fitted with cable ties and rubber rings but I have been told should be tack welded onto specific points on the body. As well as that quality of exhaust is awful. If you are ok to do a bit of a weld then self fitment shouldn't be a big issue as it...

Given the state of the selector cable I have been trying to source new but keep coming up with only the full selector kit. Has anybody bought the selector cable itself and if so where from ?

I think the wheel on the front driver side costs more than my P38 altogether, even with fixing all the faults :)
