    Lpg

I get 12 mpg which would give me approx 200m for 70 l. Given LPG / Petrol price diff it equates to around 19 mpg which is sh** compared to some of what I am seeing here RichWp: How do you manage to get mpg like that in yours ? I suspect the system, installation and the engine it is being...

Cruise Control has decided to stop working

Follow the RAVE procedures and it will tell you the answer. Mine was the rotary coupler which took £20 to buy and 10 mins to fix. It is not normally that E.g.usually pipes etc, but by going through troubleshooting it saved me a lot of £ getting a garage to find it.

    ANR4663 Alloys

I have a set of alloys (16") with good tyres on them. Given existing ones need replaced I was thinking of swapping these on. Issue is that alloys only have a LR part number of ANR4663 on them. Local dealer can't seem to find them on his system. I suspect they are Disco 2's. Any advice on...

Driver Side Seat Re-trim and new Armrest

All The addiction continues. I have decided to try bring the driver side seat and armrest back from the dead. It appears that a replacement leather seat cover may be a good way of doing this and at the same time give me the chance to fix the heater element. Armrest needs replacement I...

    Those who have gone LPG...

I bought mine converted. It does though have awful fuel consumption of around about 13mph. Doing the conversion for cost that gives me an equivalent of around 21 mpg which I suspect is as good as it gets until I spend £4,000 on a Turner engine replacement that gives 20mpg on petrol and should...

Do I sell or repair? Range Rover 1999 4.0 V8 SE

Here's a different view. Currently my RR does 12mpg = 45p per mile in fuel. If I spent £4,000 on a Turner engine that gave me 20 mpg then within 8,949 miles I would have my money back.....

Do I sell or repair? Range Rover 1999 4.0 V8 SE

From what I read though David it is an absolutely solid engine from Turner and even gets to 20 mpg which could really help my 12mpg challenge !!! If I had £4k lying around I would probably just go buy one as a stand-by. :)

    Missing Config in Microcat

Hi folks I have tried to get config info out of microcat using reg # and VIN but there is no colour coding coming up for paint or leather. Any other ideas other than going to stealer ?

Do I sell or repair? Range Rover 1999 4.0 V8 SE

Folks Is it not possible to get the engine replaced with upgraded liner solution for circa £2.5k ? Seems a crying shame for a great spec car to end up scrapped :-(

    Faultmate FCR or Extreme-MSV2

Wammers To be fair I did ask about the functionality and differential on price between the two. The fact the MSV2 is all singing all dancing and can do a lot more is undoubtedly attractive but the question really is does it justify the price difference ? I keep a watch on the alternative...

    Faultmate FCR or Extreme-MSV2

A lot of people here have one or other of the BBS diag tools. Given there is a £300 difference it would be great if owners of the 2 could give an honest opinion as to whether the MSV2 is really needed by the average owner and if so what advantages you get for the extra £300. Thanks

Condenser supply : Customer Service or not..

£101 inc p&p, part itself was £89. The one I wanted originally that was out of stock was £75+£13.50 p&p so £88.50 all in. It sounds like the one data got with fluids, seals and fitting instructions etc I guess it's all about import costs as they all seem to be sourced from China so exchange...

Please Please as my previous post any P38 advice

I have 97 4.0 with multi point system fitted. Problems are all usual ones : EAS, Cruise, Air Con, Front Prop etc. It has to be said tho that with Microcat to order parts and RAVE to dig through I have been able to diagnose and get most of these fixed either myself or by getting parts and getting...
